USAGE AREAS
Porous asphalt is applied in places where drainage is completed in order to prevent water accumulation on the road surface on city roads, intercity roads, pavements.

APPLICATION
All infrastructure works must be completed before laying. It can be applied directly to the areas where the drainage system has been made or the insulation layer is laid on the cleaned floor. It is applied over the layer. Insulation of the floor is done with 2-3 kg PmB per m2. Laying should cover the entire width and it should be noted that there are no joints. The pavers that are ranked according to the situation should be used. Vibrating roller should not be used in porous asphalt paving, 24-28% void ratio should be followed.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Unlike the maintenance and repair of traditional asphalt, there is no need for an extra maintenance-repair. However, it is recommended to wash the pavement surface with pressurized water at least once every 6 months in order not to clog the pores in the asphalt.
